Our client creates high quality solutions, working to improve the nation's health and well-being. Their award-winning products are on sale in high-street stores and the new challenge is to develop new socially-aware products across Internet of Things connected devices with smart applications.

The Senior Software Engineer's role will be to define new functionality in collaboration with strategic stakeholders. The company is a fast-growing start-up; the technical work spans the whole software development lifecycle and all the engineers, from junior to senior are hands-on. The team follow good software engineering principles, with a clear desire to write clean and efficient code e.g. using SOLID principles.

With an excellent relevant degree, you will be able to demonstrate the following:-

 * Robust hands-on commercial experience of .NET development
 * Cloud services development, integrating with Azure or AWS
 * Experience of iOS and/or Android development, particularly using the Xamarin environment
 * Agile development
 * A desire to take a leading role in creating a supportive development environment, particularly in mentoring junior engineers.
