## About the Role

* An excellent numerate academic background in a subject such as numerical physics or applied mathematics, with mostly A*s at A-level (or equivalent).
 * Demonstrable hands-on C++ (or maybe Fortran) coding skills and ability to develop code under and for the Linux operating system.
 * You must have British nationality due to the need to obtain a security clearance.
 * Ideally, previous experience developing physics-based mathematical modelling software for materials behaviour. Experience managing HPC infrastructure would be a bonus.
