## About the Role

* Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Biomechanik, Medizintechnik, des Maschinenbaus oder eine vergleichbare technische Ausbildung, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt auf numerischer Simulation
 * Fundierte Kenntnisse der Finite-Elemente-Methode (FEM) sowie praktische Erfahrung mit gängigen Simulationstools, vorzugsweise ANSYS
 * Analytische, strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise sowie ausgeprägte Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
 * Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
 * Idealerweise erste Erfahrungen im regulierten Umfeld der Medizintechnik, insbesondere im Bereich ASME V&V 40 und ISO 13485
 * Grundlegende Programmierkenntnisse, beispielsweise in Python, zur Datenanalyse, Automatisierung und Weiterentwicklung simulationsgestützter Prozesse
 * Begeisterung für innovative Technologien wie Digital Twins, KI-gestützte Simulationsmethoden und inSilico-Tests

## Description

* Entwicklung, Aufbau und Standardisierung von Berechnungsmodellen für Medizinprodukte und inSilico-Tests
 * Bewertung, Verifizierung und Validierung von Berechnungsmodellen
 * Optimierung von Produktkonzepten und Prozessstrukturen sowie Identifikation und Reduzierung von Verschwendungen
 * Erweiterung simulationsbasierter Anwendungsgebiete und Unternehmensprodukte durch die Integration neuer Technologien wie Digital Twins und Künstliche Intelligenz (KI)
 * Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit mit externen sowie klinischen Partnern im In- und Ausland
 * Eigenverantwortliche Planung, Durchführung und Dokumentation der genannten Aufgaben in enger Abstimmung mit den relevanten Fachabteilungen
