## About the Role

* Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
 * Several years of experience in embedded Linux development
 * Strong expertise in:
 1. Linux kernel, device trees, and driver development
 2. Build systems such as Yocto or Buildroot
 3. C/C++ (ideally also shell scripting and Python)
 * Experience in technical leadership or in a senior/lead engineer role
 * Structured, solution-oriented working style
 * Very good English skills (German language skills are a plus)

## Description

Your work enables high-performance, robust, and reliable embedded systems designed to operate under demanding real-world conditions. You set technical direction, ensure long-term system stability, and guide complex embedded solutions from initial concept through to operational deployment.
What is your Day to Day Mission:

 * Technical and disciplinary leadership of an embedded Linux development team
 * Planning, coordination, and prioritization of development tasks and resources
 * Technical ownership of embedded Linux platforms (BSP, kernel, drivers, user space)
 * Close collaboration with product management, hardware development, and embedded software development
 * Ensuring high code quality, architectural standards, and robust development processes
 * Coaching, mentoring, and continuous development of team members
 * Contribution to technology decisions and long-term strategic development
