## About the Role

You will demonstrate a strong academic background from a world leading university. You may have recently completed a PhD relating to PDR or SLAM research, alternatively you might be more experienced and be working on this area for a commercial organisation. In no particular order you will possess the following skills to varying degrees.

 * Strong practical knowledge of statistical signal processing and/or machine learning
 * Exposure to developing and testing PDR and SLAM techniques is vital
 * Understanding of sensor analysis techniques
 * Solid programming/modelling skills in MATLAB/Python/C++
 * Open to working within an agile development team
 * Ability to present your progress successfully

You will be supported by an existing team of software developers while you play a key role in understanding the current algorithms created by a design house and ensuring that knowledge also exists within this company. Once you have a handle on that you will go on to enhance the application of AI techniques to object recognition, depth analysis and SLAM.
