## Description

The Web / Application Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting Philadelphia City Council's public facing websites and internal web applications, ensuring system stability, accessibility compliance, and alignment with City digital standards.
This position requires strong attention to detail, experience with web application support, and knowledge of accessibility and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and support the PHL Council and PHL Veterans websites and Council web applications.
Perform content updates, bug fixes, and enhancements in coordination with City teams.
Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
Assist with controlled releases, testing, and deployment coordination.
Maintain technical documentation, application configurations, and change records.
Coordinate with creative, technical, and City stakeholders to support updates and improvements.
