## About the Role

* 8+ years building production backend/data systems
 * Deep Python + strong Postgres fundamentals
 * Hands-on AWS (SQS, DynamoDB, S3) + Kubernetes
 * Experience scaling document/ETL pipelines (filings, transcripts, IR materials ideal)
 * Orchestration experience (Dagster, Airflow, etc.)
 * Proven ownership of production incidents + post-incident hardening

Nice to Have: RAG/retrieval infra experience, fintech/capital markets background

## Description

* Own architecture + reliability of ingestion & document-store services
 * Build and harden onboarding pipelines (timeouts, circuit breakers, deduplication, DLQs)
 * Lead retrieval layer (chunking, embeddings, ranking) powering AI agents
 * Drive data quality across ~80 document types and hundreds of tickers
 * Set engineering standards for testing, observability, incident response
 * Mentor mid-level engineers and raise the bar across the team
