## About the Role

* Degree, or equivalent, in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer science or physics
 * Working experience in the area of network providers, data centers, system integrators or telco / router equipment manufacturers
 * Advanced Knowledge of Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM)
 * Strong ability to work to given deadlines with short response times
 * Excellent presentation and communication skills
 * Ability to take fast, autonomous decisions and work on own initiative
 * Excellent team worker
 * Flexibility to travel worldwide
 * Language skills: Fluent in English (both written and spoken), additional languages are beneficial
 * A working knowledge of Microsoft office applications

## Description

* Designing optimized solutions to fit customer specifications, taking both the technical and economical perspective into consideration
 * Completing and supporting the technical part of tender responses
 * Providing technical sales material on Adtran's solutions to regional Solution Engineers and Sales Managers
 * Preparing and delivering customer presentations
 * Training of pre-sales personnel on products, solutions and tools
 * Feedback on market trends to Business Development and Product Line Management
