## About the Role

Du hast Berufserfahrung in der Systemadministration bzw. im IT-Support.

 - Das erforderliche Mindestlevel ist Level 2 (Professional).

 - Kenntnisse in der Administration von Linuxsystemen bringst Du bereits mit.

 - Idealerweise hast Du eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung im IT-Bereich (z.B. Fachinformatiker*in für Systemintegration).

 - Du bringst Grundkenntnisse von VMware ESXi oder KVM-Hypervisoren für das Virtualisierungsmanagement mit.

 - Die Tätigkeit in einem Schichtsystem (24/7) sind für Dich keine Herausforderung.

 - Du verfügst über fließende Deutsch- und (sehr) gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift.

 - Eine eigenverantwortliche und strukturierte Arbeitsweise, analytische Fähigkeiten sowie Kommunikationsvermögen und Teamfähigkeit zeichnen Dich aus.

 - Erste Erfahrung mit Ansible, sowie Scripting-Sprachen (z.B. Bash, PowerShell, Python oder Perl) sind vorteilhaft.

## Description

Bereitstellung von LifeCycle-Operations-Support im 24/7 Schichdienst für groß angelegte Cloud- und virtualisierte Umgebungen, insbesondere Patching-Aktivitäten für VMware ESXi und KVM-Hypervisoren.

 - Verwendung von Monitoring-Tools zur Überwachung der Systemleistung, zur proaktiven Behebung von Problemen und zur Sicherstellung des Zustands der Infrastruktur.

 - Fehlerbehebung und Lösung eskalierter Vorfälle, Serviceanfragen und betrieblicher Probleme unter Einhaltung der SLAs.

 - Verwalten von Änderungsanfragen und Bereitstellungen unter Beachtung bewährter Verfahren im Änderungsmanagement, Minimierung von Ausfallzeiten und Serviceunterbrechungen.

 - Durchführung von Kapazitätsplanung, System-Upgrades und Optimierung, um die Skalierbarkeit und Effizienz von Cloud- und virtualisierten Umgebungen sicherzustellen.

 - Zusammenarbeit mit funktionsübergreifenden Teams, um die Abstimmung bei der Lösung von Vorfällen und Infrastrukturänderungen zu gewährleisten und eine effektive Kommunikation während des gesamten Support-Prozesses zu gewährleisten.
