ASI experience is preferred but not required. * Knowledge of database concepts, data structures, file layouts, queries, testing methods, and maintainable code practices. * Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile or iterative delivery, documentation standards, and change control processes. * Ability to troubleshoot application issues, analyze production data, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business partners, vendors, and geographically distributed teams. * Willingness to learn complex application environments, document findings, and contribute to team knowledge sharing. * Willingness and ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation and provide evening or weekend support when needed for business-critical systems. ## Description We are looking for a Software Developer to maintain, enhance, and modernize business-critical IBM iSeries applications, including COBOL-based ASI solutions. This role works with business partners, IT teams, and vendors to deliver reliable systems that support daily operations and long-term technology goals.
