The Must-Haves (CV Essentials): * Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience specifically as a Content Designer. * Sector Knowledge: Proven experience working as a Content Designer within the UK Public Sector (Local or Central Government). * Agile Expertise: Significant experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (alongside developers, designers, and researchers) within an Agile environment. Technical Proficiencies: * User-Centred Design: Expert at translating user stories into accessible, plain-language content that works with assistive technologies. * Strategic Thinking: Ability to focus on outcomes rather than just activities, contributing to broader content strategies and policies. * Stakeholder Management: A knack for tailoring communication to different audiences and using evidence to explain difficult design decisions. * Content Lifecycle: A deep understanding of why content maintenance and governance are just as important as the initial creation. ## Description The London Borough of Hackney is known for its innovation and commitment to its residents. As a Content Designer here, you won't just be writing copy, you'll be designing end-to-end user journeys that dismantle complexity and ensure accessibility for all., You will be responsible for creating, evaluating, and reviewing content at every stage of the user journey.
