This is a hands-on architecture role focused on designing, modernising and governing enterprise data platforms. You'll need strong SQL/PostgreSQL, data modelling, migration and data governance experience, alongside a solid understanding of insurance data and processes., * Proven experience as a Data Architect, Database Architect or Senior Data Modeller. * Mandatory insurance industry experience, covering areas such as: + Policy administration/life cycle + Claims + Underwriting + Billing + Broker/intermediary data + Risk/exposure + Reinsurance * Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, partitioning and performance tuning. * Strong PostgreSQL experience, including schema design, optimisation, security, replication and high availability. * Strong data modelling experience across operational and analytical environments. * Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT, data integration and data migration. * Strong understanding of data governance, quality, metadata, lineage and security. * Experience working with large, complex and highly regulated data environments. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. * London Market experience is essential.
