## About the Role

* Experience developing software for real-time or embedded systems using C/C++.
 * A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
 * Experience working within an R&D or product development environment.
 * A collaborative approach and passion for developing high-quality software.
 * Experience in medical devices, control systems, Agile development or regulated environments is advantageous

## Description

* Develop and maintain real-time control software used within Elekta's radiotherapy systems.
 * Design and implement robust, high-quality solutions that meet performance, safety and regulatory requirements.
 * Work closely with software engineers, systems engineers and architects to deliver new features and enhancements.
 * Contribute to software quality through testing, code reviews and continuous improvement activities.
 * Support technical planning, estimation and delivery of development work.
 * Produce and maintain technical documentation in line with development processes and industry standards.
 * Share knowledge, contribute to problem solving and help drive a collaborative engineering culture.
