You should be able to demonstrate: * Experience working as a Data Engineer, Data Developer, AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer or similar. * Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. * Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and working with structured and unstructured data. * Experience leading technical workstreams or taking ownership of significant elements of project delivery. * Experience mentoring, coaching or providing technical guidance to junior team members. * The ability to engage confidently with stakeholders and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. * Experience working in complex delivery environments, ideally within a consultancy or professional services organisation. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering clean, reliable and maintainable solutions. * Experience working within Agile delivery environments. Desirable Technical Experience Experience in some of the following areas would be highly beneficial: * Machine Learning and AI Engineering * Generative AI and Large Language Models * Prompt engineering and context engineering * scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow * LangChain or similar AI frameworks * Cloud data platforms and services across AWS, Azure or GCP * Data warehouses and modern data platforms * Big data and distributed processing technologies * Data integration, data quality and data governance * Model testing, evaluation and monitoring You do not need to be an expert across every area.
