## About the Role

* VoIP testing experience using SIPp, Spectra, WinSIP or StarTrinity
 * Test automation with Python and Robot Framework
 * API and performance testing using JMeter, k6, Locust, Taurus/BlazeMeter or Newman
 * GUI automation experience with TestCafe
 * CI/CD testing integration experience
 * Knowledge of SIP, RTP and telecoms environments
 * Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS/OEL) and Windows administration
 * Exposure to telecoms platforms such as Metaswitch Rhino, Dialogic Media Server or Perimeta SBC
Desirable Skills:

 * SSCA SIP School certification
 * Knowledge of INAP, CAP and MAP protocols
 * Metaswitch Scenario Simulator experience
 * Telecoms security, system hardening and ITIL knowledge

## Description

Test Automation Engineer (VoIP) Contract - Paying up to £367 Per Day, Inside IR35, Based in Ipswich, Hybrid Working, Contract until March 2027, To Start ASAP, * Design and maintain automated test frameworks for VoIP, signalling and media services

 * Develop scripts to simulate call loads, stress conditions and network degradation
 * Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
 * Create detailed functional, performance, security and regression test cases
 * Analyse SIP and RTP traffic using tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump
 * Monitor voice quality metrics including latency, jitter, packet loss and MOS scores
 * Produce comprehensive test reports and manage defects through Jira
 * Work closely with Development, DevOps and Network Engineering teams to resolve issues
