 * Functional and non-functional testing
 * Systems integration testing
 * Security testing
 * Performance testing
 * Development and maintenance of automated test suites
 * Test Infrastructure - eg Docker and containerisation
 * TDD and BDD principles
 * Micro-service architecture and API testing principles
 * CI/CD pipelines
 * Java 11/17/21and Springboot framework
 * Testing frameworks such as Cucumber, REST assured, Wiremock
 * SC Security Clearance for accessing production logs
 * Front End testing frameworks such as Selenium
 * Accessibility testing (WCAG)

This is a contract which will be moving into 2026 and beyond on key government projects. Experience in this sector is essential, as is SC Clearance eligibility.

you will need to travel occasionally to the Client site in either Newcastle or Manchester. So must be based near to either area to be considered.
