## About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in developing software for complex, technically challenging environments.

You'll ideally have experience with:

 * Commercial embedded software development using C and/or C++
 * Bare-metal, RTOS and/or embedded Linux
 * Software and hardware integration and debugging
 * Real-time, performance-constrained or hardware-constrained systems
 * Full software engineering lifecycle
 * Version control and unit testing
 * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 * Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience within Defence, National Security, Communications, Sensing, Electronic Warfare or other secure environments would be highly advantageous.

Security clearance is essential for this role - you must hold active MoD DV clearance.

## Description

You'll be involved across the full software engineering lifecycle, including:

 * Developing embedded software using C and/or C++
 * Working across bare-metal, RTOS and Linux-based embedded platforms
 * Designing, implementing, debugging and integrating software with hardware
 * Developing software for real-time and performance-constrained systems
 * Supporting software integration and testing
 * Investigating and resolving complex software and hardware integration issues
 * Working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
 * Contributing to version control, unit testing and modern development practices
 * Supporting the delivery of software from prototype through to deployed solutions
