In this role, you will: Collaborate closely with engineers, Human Interface designers, and product partners to brainstorm, prototype, and ship innovative interactions and visual capabilities. Design, optimize, and evolve the core calculation engine that powers Numbers, ensuring high throughput, thread safety, and instant responsiveness across massive datasets and complex formula dependency graphs. Tackle complex engineering challenges across massive data sets, high-performance rendering, and multi-touch/spatial interaction models. Navigate and evolve a large, mature codebase by diagnosing subtle issues, improving testability, and delivering robust architectural enhancements. Prototype novel concepts rapidly and present compelling technical demos to cross-functional teams and leadership.
