PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: * Standing and sitting for extended periods of time. * Lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe and prudent manner. * Ability to easily move through an approximately 45,000 square foot warehouse building. * Ability to read, write, and understand English. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Correctable vision and hearing. * Ability to work on-site full-time to perform functions of the job., * Do you have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field? * Do you have at least 5 years of experience designing embedded systems? * What is your level of experience with FAA certification standards (ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-178C)? * How many years of experience do you have working with avionics systems? * Have you been responsible for system architecture design in a previous role? ## Description The Avionics Systems Engineer is responsible for the overall system architecture and design of avionics systems. This position plays a key role in defining Aspen's next generation of avionics systems and ensuring the goals of these systems are achieved.
