The transformation does not get an excuse to let "run" slip. * Make architecture and design decisions with conviction and grounded in having done this work before and stand behind them. Drive toward the pragmatic answer rather than the perfect-on-paper one. * Own construction accounting on SAP: project structures, cost flows, WIP, revenue recognition, and the FI/CO/PS integration that makes percentage-of-completion and job costing actually work in a building products context. * Direct the H2R stream on SuccessFactors so HR processes, data, and downstream integrations are clean and reliable. * Direct Plan-to-Produce on PP and PM so production planning and plant maintenance support the realities of the plants and the products they make. * Coach and develop the two Managers and their teams and set expectations, hold the line on quality, and build a group that delivers. * Bring people together. You will spend real time aligning groups that don't naturally agree and getting them to a decision everyone can move forward on. * Be accountable for your areas: timelines, budget, quality, adoption, and the production stability of what you put in. * Business Value Stream Leaders: your business counterparts who own the process and outcomes * IT Legacy Applications, Data, and Integration teams: for migration, interfaces, and the realities of the current landscape * Business Performance: to tie what you build to measurable results * Organizational Change Management (OCM): so what you deliver actually lands with the people who use it ## Related Videos - [Replacing Excel with SAP APIs & Python validation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1944-replacing-excel-with-sap-apis-python-validation) - [Next Level Enterprise Architecture: Modular, Flexible, Scalable, Multichannel and AI-Ready?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1017-next-level-enterprise-architecture-modular-flexible-scalable-multichannel-and-ai-ready) - [Successful talent development: A joint journey of executives and talents](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1002-successful-talent-development-a-joint-journey-of-executives-and-talents) ## Related Articles - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [Promotion Interview Questions: How to Answer and Get the Job](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/413-promotion-interview-questions-how-to-answer-and-get-the-job) - [Why and How to Sponsor Developer Events](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/686-why-and-how-to-sponsor-developer-events) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Events like RSAC Get You CISOs.
