Preferred Requirements and Education: * Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business management, or technical field, or equivalent education, training and/or related work experience. * Project Management Institute (PMI) certification as Project Management Professional (PMP). * Preferred Skills and Proficiencies: * Experience working with conceptual, preliminary and detailed cost estimates * PC software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) * Statistical analysis * Interpretation of engineering data and drawing information * Value Engineering concepts & methods * Benchmarking methods * General Financial & Accounting Practices * Understanding of IT systems * Engineering & Administrative procedures, policies, standards, safety rules * Communication skills, both verbal and written Clearance and Health Regiments * Criminal Background Check * Pre-placement Drug Screening This position requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or identification card; or a U.S. passport as long as it clearly displays issuance date, expiration date, and color photo image. REAL ID-compliant driver's licenses are identifiable by a gold star in the upper right corner. ## Description RSI is currently recruiting an Associate Project Manager Information Technology for our client in Chattanooga. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, direction, management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects according to specifications, within budget cost from initiation through completion. The Associate Project Manager leads Joint Project Teams (JPTs), applies professional principles, practices and techniques to manage and control project schedule, cost and performance risk to ensure project is completed within a certain set of restraints (e.g., time, budget, people, quality, materials) and a high level of quality. This role is generally assigned non-critical standardized small projects, or identifiable elements or functions within a larger project. Work is primarily achieved by an individual or through project teams., * Manage projects from initial planning stages to completion, including post-project analysis in compliance with all TVA processes and procedures. * Develop full-scale project plans including project scope, accurate and reliable cost estimates, goals and deliverables, and effectively communicate project expectations to management, end users and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner. Proactively communicates project status, issues and risks to management. * Defines, estimates and secures resources needed to achieve project goals.
