Preferred * BS in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, or closely related engineering field.) * 10 years of manufacturing experience. * Technical certification such as vibration analysis, thermography, or NDT. * Project Manager certification. * Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems * Maintenance Connection or other CMMS experience. ## Description At SSAB, the Reliability Engineer identifies, assesses and mitigating asset reliability risks to support strong plant performance and overall business operations. This role focuses on loss elimination, risk management, and life cycle asset management. In addition, the Reliability Engineer detects and resolves operational inefficiencies within the department, contributing to continuous improvement and enhanced performance. The position supports innovation and long-term growth by researching emerging technologies and leading or supporting engineering projects through effective project management.
