Familiarity with reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, safety analysis, systems engineering, and configuration management. ## Description An innovative advanced nuclear technology company is seeking a Vice President of Nuclear Engineering to lead the design, development, and execution of its next- reactor programs. This is a key leadership role responsible for building a high-performing engineering organization and driving the successful delivery of First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) nuclear technologies from concept through demonstration and commercialization. The VP of Nuclear Engineering will work closely with executive leadership to define technical strategy, oversee engineering execution, and ensure the company meets critical technical, regulatory, and commercialization milestones., Lead the company's nuclear engineering organization, providing technical leadership across reactor design, systems engineering, and product development. Drive the execution of First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) reactor programs from conceptual design through testing, deployment, and commercialization. Build, mentor, and scale multidisciplinary engineering teams across reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, systems, mechanical, and nuclear engineering. Establish engineering processes, design reviews, and technical governance to support rapid growth. Partner with Licensing, Manufacturing, Operations, and Program Management to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
