Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship. ## Description The Foundation Program Officer will be responsible for managing all foundation programs related to supporting students. This position manages all facets of the scholarship program including donor stewardship, identifying areas of needed support, promoting the program to students, and managing the application and review process. The Foundation Program Officer is also responsible for managing the emergency funds, student stipends, and working with other departments on campus to streamline and enhance the student experience with a focus on student enrollment, retention and completion. This position reports directly to the Executive Director & CEO of the CBC Foundation. The salary range for this position is $ 69,441.00 - $76,759.00 This position closes on September 13, 2026 @ 11:59 PM Pacific Time. The College will conduct initial interviews with selected candidates via Zoom and will conduct on-campus interviews with finalists. Primary Responsibilities * Administer scholarship funds, both annual and perpetual. Process donations, monitor the scholarship program budget and forecast annual funding needs; * Work with the Foundation team to identify, cultivate, solicit, acknowledge and steward relationships with new and existing scholarship donors. Serve as the primary coordinator for the annual Scholarship Reception recognition event; * Implement policies and procedures for the scholarship and emergency fund programs. Market programs to students and audit programs for relevance, evaluate programs annually and implement changes as appropriate; * Create policies and procedures related to the scholarship database; train development staff, campus partners and volunteers on proper use; * Design, disseminate, collect and review applications and award scholarships based on scholarship criteria and recommendations from review committees; * Recruit, train and manage a diverse pool of volunteers to review applications; provide direction to scholarship committees regarding scholarship criteria; act as the primary coordinator for the annual reviewer recognition event; * Communicate with scholarship recipients to confirm adherence to conditions of acceptance of their awards; * Actively participate in CBC committees including but not limited to: WEC funding review, FYI, and student success leadership committee. Serve as the Foundation web ambassador and building captain. Manual dexterity and coordination are required to operate equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Work Conditions Work environment includes office and other settings as appropriate. The position operates in a fast-paced service-oriented environment with frequent interaction and competing priorities.
