This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and crews simultaneously., Field Operations & Crew Management: * Manage traffic control operations with up to 40 crew members and 15 trucks. * Oversee daily in-field traffic control operations, ensuring smooth project execution. * Oversee scheduling and dispatching of crews (schedule built by dispatcher). * Ensure crews are prepared each morning, verifying PPE, certifications, and equipment before deployment. * Manage emergency/same-day call-outs and participate in a rotating on-call weekend schedule. Project & Compliance Oversight: * Track and manage large-scale public and private projects to ensure compliance and efficiency. * Oversee field inspections conducted by the Field Supervisor, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. * Work with the Operations Team to implement and uphold safety and training protocols. * Manage DOT vehicle compliance, GPS monitoring, and fuel card usage. Financial & Administrative Management: * Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate billing and payroll. * Assist in preparing quotes, bids, and estimates for new projects. * Work with HR on hiring, training, and personnel management. Equipment & Fleet Oversight: * Oversee equipment inventory, maintenance, reordering, and stock levels. * Manage vehicle fleet maintenance and servicing to ensure operational readiness.
