## About the Role

Do you have experience in Safety regulations?, * 1-2 years of experience in a fast paced, food manufacturing environment

 * Meat exposure / meat experience a plus
 * HACCP Certified preferred
 * USDA manufacturing exposure/experience a plus
 * Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook; able to complete formulas
 * Ability to clearly speak, read, and write in English
 * Excels as a team player
 * Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
 * Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
 * Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
 * Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by Thomas Foods International, USA

## Description

Reporting Directly to the QA Manager, the QA Technician role is a high-visibility, high-impact role within the Processing Department at TFI USA. This is your opportunity to influence and innovate. You'll partner with leaders across the plant and bring new ideas to life. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

 * Conduct Pre-Operational and Operational Inspections and document findings.
 * Communicate Foreign Object discoveries and provide root cause identification and corrective action measures.
 * Inspect returned goods, document findings, and provide disposition.
 * Perform Shelf-Life testing and assist in sampling collection.
 * Provide Chemically Lean testing results and fat testing.
 * Execute ATP environmental swabbing in the facility (both food contact and non-food contact surfaces).
