(CCNA, CCENT) * Layer 2 and layer 3 network troubleshooting * Have installed, trouble-shot and navigated various flavors of Linux OS ## Description The Data Center Sites Technician III will be responsible for day-to-day data center support activities, including but not limited to: server and network hardware installation, copper / fiber-optic cabling, "layer 1" troubleshooting and IT asset management. Sites II Technician to monitor and respond to hardware and software issues, utilizing industry standard ticketing system and to provide clear, timely and appropriate customer communications. Sites II Technician activities to be governed by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Program, Safety and Security Policies in order to meet requirements for quality and quantity of work. Sites II will be required to join an on-call rotation for after hours support. Sites II Technicians actively participate in the change management process, both checking in a monitoring production and preventative maintenances., The Site III Technician will need to be conversant in common networking hardware Command Line Interfaces (CLI) such as Cisco, Arista, Dell, and Juniper. The Site III Technician will also need to be skilled in using and navigating different flavors of Linux. Sites III Technician to monitor and respond to hardware and software issues, utilizing industry standard ticketing system and to provide clear, timely and appropriate customer communications.
