KG - **Location:** Blankenfelde-Mahlow, Germany - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Office, SAP (Applications), Standard Generalized Markup Language, Extensible Markup Language (XML) - **Published:** August 25, 2026 - **Apply:** https://rollsroyce.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/professional/job/Dahlewitz/Lifecycle-Engineer--f-m-d-_JR6159205-1 ## About the Role * Completed engineering degree in a technical field (aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering etc.) Master's degree or PhD. * Experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer in the CS-E area. * Many years of experience in engine assembly, repair and overhaul. * Experience in dealing with authorities and regulations (EASA Part-21, Part-145, CS-E regulations, etc.). * Confident use of MS Office, SAP and Team Center. * Experience with ASD S1000D and S2000M desirable. * Knowledge of editorial systems (XML, SGML etc.). * Very good written and spoken English skills. Knowledge of German is an asset. * Communication skills and ability to work independently. * Willingness to travel worldwide occasionally. ## Description * Act as the Customer Engineering interface, collaborating with Operators, Partners, Airframers, Regulatory Authorities, and Subject Matter Experts to identify and develop through-life service solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory, technical, and business requirements. * Investigate and analyze service events, including safety and reliability aspects, across all engine equipment. Coordinate with relevant experts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that reduce operational burden while meeting customer and business needs. * Manage issues affecting product maturity, lifecycle cost, reliability, and maintainability, ensuring they are addressed through design improvements or other means. * Support reliability management by monitoring performance against targets and analyzing disruption metrics based on historical data.
