This role facilitates timely resolution of imaging related issues, rounds regularly at assigned hospitals, and serves as the first point of contact for imaging technology support (e.g. PACS, Epic, Powerscribe), including remote and after-hours support by phone, and may include remotely accessing devices to identify and resolve issues. Specialist(s) require a thorough understanding of the workflow processes and relationships between ancillary systems and RIS/PACS.
