Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Project Manager - Outside Fiber Optic Installation - **Company:** KATMAI - **Location:** United States - **Experience:** Experienced - **Salary:** $80,000.0 - $100,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** AutoCAD, Project Management Software, Microsoft Office, Productivity Software, Software Tools, Tools for Reporting - **Published:** May 21, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=f0e991189f13228e ## About the Role Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have a valid Certified Project Manager certification?, Do you have experience in Productivity software?, * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field preferred. * Three (3) to seven (7) years of project management experience in telecommunications or utility construction. * Experience with outside plant (OSP) fiber optic installation projects. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. * PMP certification or equivalent project management certification. * Experience with FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) deployments. * Experience managing subcontractors and multiple concurrent projects. * Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks., * Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, or telecom engineering software. * Familiarity with NESC and OSHA safety standards. * Knowledge of aerial and underground construction methods. * Strong understanding of permitting and utility coordination. * Experience managing telecommunications or utility construction projects involving aerial and underground fiber deployment. * Strong leadership and organizational skills. * Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. * Budgeting and cost-control expertise. * Problem-solving and risk management. * Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. * Knowledge of fiber optic construction standards and practices., Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver's license and be insurable on the company's automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving. The expected driving time is less than 50%. ## Description Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all phases of outside plant (OSP) fiber optic construction and installation projects.
