Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS agency-specific Public Trust. ## Description * Full Lifecycle Development: Lead software development lifecycle (SDLC) projects, including performance analysis, design, development, and testing. Support Agile estimation and development ceremonies. * Maintenance & Support: Provide configuration and custom development support for ongoing perfective maintenance (enhancements) and corrective maintenance (bug fixes). Analyze user stories and provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates for System Change Requests (SCRs). * System Integration & Data Migration: Configure and integrate applications with systems like Microsoft Office 365. Develop and execute data loading, validation, and migration scripts for facility-related data and "as-builts." * Web Services Development: Write integrated web services code to interface with external systems across DHS and partner agencies. * Architecture & Performance Tuning: Participate in application architecture decisions and lead performance tuning efforts. * UI/UX & Responsive Design: Utilize UI/UX prototyping, visual design, and handoff tools to ensure seamless user experiences.
