## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
 * 5+ years of backend software development experience.
 * Strong experience with Python, Hack/PHP, Java, Go, or similar languages.
 * Experience with GraphQL, REST services, and API development.
 * Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
 * Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
 * Experience with asynchronous processing and workflow execution frameworks.
 * Proficiency with testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with large-scale infrastructure environments.
 * Knowledge of data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
 * Experience building systems that support machine learning or analytics workloads.
 * Prior experience in high-growth technology environments.

## Description

Meta is seeking a Backend Engineer to build and maintain scalable infrastructure, APIs, and services supporting products used at global scale. This role requires strong distributed systems expertise, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to collaborate across engineering organizations., * Design and implement highly available backend services and APIs.

 * Develop scalable distributed systems to process large volumes of data.

 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
