## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical discipline
 * Several years of experience in the development of electronic assemblies and systems
 * Good knowledge of Linux-based systems
 * Programming experience in C/C++
 * Experience in testing, verification, and validation of hardware components
 * Structured and analytical working style with a strong quality mindset
 * Good written and spoken English skills, * Experience with ATEX and IECEx certifications according to IEC 60079
 * Knowledge of functional safety according to IEC 61508
 * Knowledge of Cyber Security concepts

## Description

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will drive the development and continuous improvement of our embedded hardware solutions:

 * Develop and optimize hardware for industrial and safety-critical applications
 * Build prototypes and perform functional, verification, and validation testing
 * Define test systems and create suitable test environments for hardware and software components
 * Support certification and product approval processes while ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards
 * Collaborate closely with Product Management, Hardware and Software Development, IoT Solutions, Cyber Security, and Customer Support
 * Evaluate new technologies and contribute innovative ideas to the evolution of our hardware platforms
 * Document development and test results in both German and English
 * Actively contribute to shaping the future hardware strategy of our company
