## Description

Job Summary:## # # # ## Under the direct supervision of the IT Security Officer the Security analyst has primary responsibility for daily computer security functions within Forrest General Hospital. Specifically, the Security Analyst should possess skills in the areas of network operating systems and computer applications security functions. Not only does this position have the responsibility of analyzing, assigning, monitoring, and removing the appropriate security levels regarding employee and physician access to computer applications at Forrest General, this position also has the responsibility for conducting security audits to ensure those who have access are in fact the same people who are accessing our systems. This position also requires interaction with both internal and external contacts in the analysis, design and implementation stages of a project.# This person also works directly with both hospital and vendor personnel.# Demonstrates, knowledge and skills to appropriately
