This role will be onsite - shift work. Overview: The Data Center Field Installations Technician (L1) is an entry-level technical role responsible for executing standardized in-rack installation activities within a data center environment. This includes rack builds, equipment racking and stacking, structured cabling, power connections, and cooling setup tasks (DX and direct-to-chip liquid cooling). This role provides hands-on support for deployment activities by following established procedures, checklists, and technical standards to ensure consistent, high-quality installations. Through accurate execution of installation tasks and adherence to defined processes, this role contributes to timely project delivery and minimizes rework or operational risk. The primary objective of this role is to complete all assigned installation activities in alignment with quality standards, safety requirements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Data Center Field Installations Technician (L1) is responsible for handling standard, low-complexity installation tasks, performing routine physical work, and using documented guidelines and supervision where required.
