## About the Role

* 2 or more years of experience in administering and engineering Avaya on-premise PBX systems.
 * Proficiency in VoIP, Unified Communications (UC) platforms, and SIP trunking protocols.
 * Experience with Session Border Controllers (SBCs), media gateways, and PSTN carrier circuit integration.
 * Experience in configuring complex dial plans, ARS routing tables, call vectoring, and IVR systems.
 * Experience with troubleshooting voice quality issues, RTP streams, QoS metrics, and E911 location services.
 * Experience in migrating enterprise on-premises telephony architectures to cloud-based voice solutions.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

## Description

* Perform moves, adds, changes, and disconnects (MACD) for voice, voicemail, and unified communications systems.
 * Configure, deploy, and maintain Avaya PBX hardware, media gateways, and enterprise safety endpoints.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve voice network outages, carrier circuit degradation, call routing faults, and E911 data errors.
 * Optimize automatic route selection (ARS) tables, call center vector scripts, and interactive voice response (IVR) flows.
 * Collaborate with telecom vendors to provision new voice circuits and resolve service disruptions.
 * Monitor voice network quality and QoS performance metrics to ensure maximum telephony availability.
 * Author system diagrams, standard configuration guidelines, and operational knowledge-base documentation.
