## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred
 * 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud operations, systems engineering, automation, or related fields
 * Strong experience with Windows, Linux, AWS, Jenkins, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Shell
 * Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Git-based workflows, and infrastructure-as-code practices
 * Experience with automated testing frameworks, API testing, observability platforms, and production support
 * Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills

## Description

Kforce has a client seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Miami, FL (Florida)., * Design, develop, and maintain automated validation tests for applications, infrastructure, operating systems, databases, APIs, cloud services, and middleware following deployments

 * Integrate smoke tests, health checks, service validations, and infrastructure verification into Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
 * Support DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives by improving deployment reliability, operational readiness, and issue detection
 * Automate validation of Windows/Linux patching, AWS infrastructure changes, Ansible deployments, configuration updates, and infrastructure-as-code implementations
 * Establish quality gates, pipeline pass/fail criteria, automated reporting, and rollback readiness checks
 * Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, Ansible, Jenkins, Selenium (or equivalent), and API testing tools
 * Leverage monitoring, logs, metrics, dashboards, and alerts to validate system health after change events
 * Troubleshoot failed validations, identify root causes, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues
 * Maintain runbooks, testing standards, operational procedures, and deployment validation documentation
