 * BA/BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and 0-3 years of related experience, or AA in related field and 3 years of related experience; in lieu of formal education, 10 years of related experience; specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

## Description

* Create prototypes and perform internal testing of software products
 * Respond to software discrepancies against documented requirements and provide resolution
 * Determine software maintainability and overall adherence to user requirements
 * Generate program design language and code based on mission standards
 * Generate/update project documents
 * Analyze and evaluate systems, devising computer specifications for scientific/engineering applications
 * Encode, test, debug, and install operating programs and procedures
 * Collaborate with engineers in the design, development, and utilization of scientific/engineering electronic data processing systems software
 * Provide analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software for products such as utility software, development software, and diagnostic software
 * Participates in the development of engineering test strategies, devices and systems
 * Performs all other duties as assigned
