## Description

Test Engineer - Contract role Outside IR35 - Up to 12 months

The Role

As a Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of complex systems by driving quality throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and maintain automated and manual test cases and testing frameworks
 * Collaborate closely with software, hardware, and systems engineers to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues early in the development cycle
 * Take ownership of test environments, test documentation, and quality metrics
 * Champion best practices in test automation and quality assurance to ensure consistently high engineering standards

You will ideally have

 * Strong experience in software testing within embedded systems environments
 * Hands-on experience with manual and automation testing
 * Worked in defence/semiconductor or similar mission critical sectors
 * Experience with SIP Session Initiation protocol
