About the job In the Machine Learning as a Service lab, we design, build, and operate the bank's Machine Learning, Data Science, and Analytics platforms. Our work includes software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, automation, and tooling. Responsibilities * Practice scrum in a small engineering team within our Lab. * Build scalable software using Python. * Automate software and infrastructure delivery with technologies like Terraform, Python, Jenkins, Harness, and Cloud Build. * Build and improve an ML cloud platform on GCP. * Gain exposure to native Google tooling including GKE, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Build, and more. * Build, test, and deploy customised Workbench Instances. * Support Data Science teams to productionise their models on GCP. * Innovate by discovering new tools, methods, and approaches. * Use your knowledge and experience to help shape our overarching strategy. * Coach other engineers and steer the design of our software.
