## About the Role

* Senior technical leadership experience (CTO, VP Engineering, or similar) in B2B SaaS or enterprise software
 * Real, hands-on experience shipping AI/ML into production, not just setting direction
 * Strong architectural judgment, comfortable owning high-stakes, hard-to-reverse decisions
 * Experience leading distributed engineering teams
 * Direct, decisive communication: says what they mean, follows through
 * Credible, engaging directly with investors and the board
 * Commercial curiosity: sees technology as inseparable from the business

Nice to have: modern AI toolkit (RAG, multi-agent workflows), a compliance-sensitive sector background, and experience through multiple funding rounds.

## Description

What the role calls for is someone who holds both real technical depth and the discipline to turn strategy into something a team can actually execute, not one at the expense of the other.

As CTO, you'll join the executive leadership team, reporting to the CEO and working in close, non-negotiable partnership with senior product leadership. You'll bring structure to a strong engineering organization, without flattening what makes each team effective. You'll set the direction for turning data into predictive product capabilities, and act as a credible technical voice with customers, the board, and investors.

This is a hands-on role. You lead from close to the work, curious enough to explore new AI tools yourself rather than just directing others to. You're comfortable running a distributed team, and people who work with you know exactly where they stand.
