## About the Role

* Hands-on Java enterprise application development.
 * Experience building modern full-stack applications using React 18 and Java, with strong expertise in application architecture and design patterns.
 * Proven experience leading large-scale application modernization and digital transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.
 * Strong expertise in microservices architecture, RESTful API development, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable application design.
 * Hands-on experience with Python and the ability to contribute across the full application stack.
 * Experience with cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with CI/CD pipeline implementation.
 * Working knowledge of Kafka or other event-driven messaging frameworks.
 * Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity.
 * Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, defining technical standards, and driving engineering best practices.
 * Ability to collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
 * Prior experience within financial services, banking, governance, risk, or compliance domains is highly preferred.
 * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
 * Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with availability to be onsite in Charlotte, NC three days per week.

## Description

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 * Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise application modernization initiatives.
 * Drive microservices design, REST API development, database strategy, and application performance optimization.
 * Establish and enforce coding standards, engineering best practices, and AI-assisted development methodologies.
 * Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and product owners to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
 * Technical decision-making, risk assessments, and solution governance across multiple development teams.
 * Support Agile delivery processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production support activities.
 * Ensure applications meet security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability requirements within the banking environment.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions supporting Governance, Risk, and Compliance transformation initiatives.
