## About the Role

* Strong experience of leading the design and delivery of complex data solutions across a team/business area in accordance with agreed organisational standards that ensure services are resilient, scalable and future proof.

 * Advanced experience using SQL, Python, (in a Spark context) to interrogate, transform, analyse and troubleshoot complex datasets, with knowledge of Oracle Fusion reporting technologies, including FDI/AIDP and OTBI, or equivalent reporting platforms.

 * Ability to lead the development of a portfolio of ETL pipelines, across a range of complex and/or large volume data including effective delegation of work.

 * Knowledge of leading the identification, description and isolation of complex technical data, coding, tooling and platform problems; coaching the team in describing and resolving these.

 * Ability to determine, collate and translate complex customer requirements and translate these into delivery design for data processing.

 * Good ability to manage senior stakeholders including the ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders to translate, prioritise and integrate their technical needs in team workflow.

You'll also play a key role in developing engineering standards, mentoring colleagues and shaping the future direction of data engineering capability within the organisation.
