Working alongside experienced engineers, you will gain exposure to Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) methodologies, and the application of data science techniques to real-world operational challenges.The role plays an important part in connecting field operations with the maintenance organisation, helping to minimise downtime, reduce failure rates, and maximise fleet availability. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline. Strong Python coding skills and an interest in data analytics, machine learning, or predictive technologies are essential, while industry experience is beneficial but not required.Other key responsibilities include:Review and design main train subsystems with focus on maintainability, availability, reliability and CBM rule applicationDevelop prognostic algorithms, principles based on its logic, signals/events/operational information within related resolution and sampling timing and prescriptions for maintenanceImplement prognostic algorithms with different proprietary technologies and coding languages such a Pyspark , Python, PowerBIAnalyse diagnostics and maintenance dataMonitor prognostic system performances and statistical analysis on collected data to identify critical trends and conditions.Support prognostic algorithm verification and validation.
