EMPLOYING ENTITY: Dutypoint Limited EMPLOYMENT BASIS: Permanent LOCATION: Gloucester HOURS OF WORK: 8.00am - 5.00pm Mon-Fri 42.5 hours per week REPORTS TO: Technical & Engineering Manager PURPOSE OF ROLE: We are seeking a technically capable Project Engineer to support the delivery of prefabricated mechanical and electrical plantroom projects. This role will focus on coordination of technical deliverables, submittals, vendor information, and project documentation, playing a vital support role for the Engineering Manager and Project Manager. TEAM FUNCTION: With the growth of data centres and district heating this market is likely to grow significantly over the next years. We have a team that are out getting ourselves specified, working around technical challenges and selling the products. The team create special designs to support quotations through to as-built drawings. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assist in producing and managing technical documentation including: + P&IDs, layout drawings, schedules, data sheets, and submittals. * Review vendor and supplier documentation for compliance with project requirements. * Track and respond to technical queries (RFIs), action logs, and interface issues. * Liaise with procurement and fabrication teams to ensure technical alignment. * Coordinate with subcontractors and fabricators on drawing approvals and material requirements. * Maintain project document control in line with internal systems. * Participate in inspections, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and final quality checks.
