Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in database administration, including the installation, configuration, and management of enterprise-scale Oracle Server environments. * Must have in-depth experience working in ORACLE Real Application Cluster (RAC/ASM), RDBMS 12c/18c/19c, DATAGUARD, RMAN on Linux and Windows platform * Working experience in ORACLE RAC WebLogic, ORACLE APEX, ORACLE FORMS/REPORTS, ORACLE Enterprise Manager, Linux shell scripting and Perl, Python, Powershell scripting * Proven experience in the building, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of ORACLE RAC databases with ASM and DATAGUARD environments in Linux platforms in a 24x7 environment with minimum downtime. * Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning and proactive monitoring skills with strong organizational skills, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to work independently and keep management adequately informed Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills: * Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQ expertise is a big plus ## Description KBR is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our Global Database team and ensure the performance, reliability, and security of enterprise database environments supporting critical business operations. In this role, you will manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle Server databases, oversee database backup and recovery processes, and support the development and implementation of database standards across the organization. You will collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and ensure compliance with IT governance and data management policies. This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and occasional work outside normal business hours to support global operations.
