In this role, you will plan, manage, deconflict, streamline, and execute the procurement of equipment, services, and construction to support Alaska Flight Service modernization. Using a holistic systems engineering approach, you will support the design, develop, evaluate, and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products throughout their entire life cycle. This position plays a critical role in transitioning radio communications from legacy architectures to modern IP-based environments in coordination with Telecommunications Integrated Services (TIS), while simultaneously ensuring all system requirements are rigorously defined, verified, and validated against customer and government standards., * Synchronize cutover schedules stakeholders to minimize outages and maintain pilot-to-controller communication. Verify legacy and VoIP radio system integration with the new Voice Communication System (VCS). Ensure vendor adherence to technical, logistics, cybersecurity, and safety requirements throughout migration. * Generate quantifiable requirements based on customer needs, system design, and acquisition logistics. * Translate high-level strategies into system requirement specifications and lower-level implementation requirements with multi-discipline teams. * Ensure compliance with client and government standards through formal verification methods.
