This hire comes as part of a team transition, and they're keen to bring in someone who is currently operating in a manual testing role and is genuinely motivated to expand further into automation. What They're Looking For * 5+ years' experience in software testing / QA * Experience testing internally developed web applications * Some exposure to automation testing and a clear desire to develop further * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments * Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools * Understanding of test design techniques (e.g. boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, risk-based testing) * ISTQB certification (or equivalent) * Experience within the insurance sector (London Market / General Insurance preferred) They're a small team, so personality and collaboration matter.
