Skills and Knowledge: * Ability to effectively lead and supervise others * Proven understanding of business principles and techniques of administration, organization, and management * Proven experience in IT strategic planning and development, project management, database and application development, infrastructure design and installation, and policy development * Strong time management and organizational skills * Strong problem solving and analytical skills * Strong negotiation skills * Experience communicating effectively in front of groups * Excellent communication skills - ability to speak, write, and listen well * Ability to take initiative, to work independently, and to utilize creative and analytical skills to resolve issues ## Description Primary Purpose of Position: The Director of Information Technology (IT) will provide leadership and vision to develop and implement information technology initiatives, solutions, and services. The Director of IT will work with members of the leadership and management teams to develop and execute the use of information technology to support business objectives, and will provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of all information technology systems. The position will ensure alignment and integration of IT with the overall vision, mission, and values of MaineHousing.
