* Degree or postgraduate qualification in a numerate discipline, or equivalent experience
 * Hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python
 * Experience with mathematical analysis and modelling, Simulink desirable
 * Understanding of numerical simulation techniques
 * Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts
 * Understanding of geospatial data and/or geographical information systems
 * Confidence working with complex mathematical data and technical problem-solving
